How to pick where protest energy should go? I guess I’m lucky in a way that one of the options is a topic near and dear to me.

I shed a couple tears after I spoke Thursday. It is exhausting and hard. And that’s even knowing I’m not going to bear the brunt of the pain. But I’m proud to be fighting on the right side of history.

We hear a lot about bipartisan politics. Sometimes we even make it happen.

The days are getting longer. This is happening for real, as Spring shows signs of peeking through. It is also happening in the NH State House, as some terrible legislation makes its way across the floor.

With the expectation that things are going to be mostly terrible during the biennium, anything that goes well is worth celebrating.

Another week of legislating has come and gone in New Hampshire. It was, to be blunt, a depressing slog. But I’m doing my best to not lose hope, and to not burn out.
